The front features overlapping portraits of two women, faded like photocopies or surveillance stills, paired with the Japanese phrase 「自分を抜け出させる」which translates to “Let yourself escape.” The composition, grain, and typography reference late-'90s Japanese visual media: VHS thrillers, pulp cinema, and lo-fi zine culture.
The base is a midweight, lightly speckled cotton with a slub texture that catches ink differently across the surface. Combined with the desaturated charcoal print, it creates the effect of aged media.
